بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿١﴾

In nome di Allah, il Compassionevole, il Misericordioso

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿٢﴾

La lode [appartiene] ad Allah, Signore dei mondi

ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿٣﴾

il Compassionevole, il Misericordioso,

مَٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿٤﴾

Re del Giorno del Giudizio.

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴿٥﴾

Te noi adoriamo e a Te chiediamo aiuto.

ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ﴿٦﴾

Guidaci sulla retta via,

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿٧﴾

la via di coloro che hai colmato di grazia, non di coloro che [sono incorsi] nella [Tua] ira, né degli sviati.
