Czy nie widziałeś, jak postąpił twój Pan z towarzyszami słonia?

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍۢ ﴿٢﴾

Czy nie zniweczył ich podstępu?

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ﴿٣﴾

Czy nie rzucił przeciwko nim ptaków lecących stadami,

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍۢ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ ﴿٤﴾

Które obrzuciły ich kamieniami z palonej gliny?

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍۢ مَّأْكُولٍۭ ﴿٥﴾

I uczynił ich jak objedzone pole zboża.
