أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ ﴿١﴾

A nuk e ke parë se ç’bëri Zoti yt me poseduesi e elefantit?

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍۢ ﴿٢﴾

A nuk ua bëri përpjekjen e tyre të dështuar?

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ﴿٣﴾

Dhe Ai kundër tyre lëshoi shpendë që vinin tufë-tufë!

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍۢ مِّن سِجِّيلٍۢ ﴿٤﴾

Dhe i gjuanin ata me gurë nga balta e gurëzuar!

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍۢ مَّأْكُولٍۭ ﴿٥﴾

Dhe ata i bëri si gjeth i grimcuar (i përtypur)!
