Surah Esh Shems - Aya count 15

وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا ﴿١﴾

Pasha diellin dhe dritën e tij!

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا ﴿٢﴾

Pasha hënën kur vjen pas tij!

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا ﴿٣﴾

Pasha ditën kur ai (dielli) e shndrit!

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا ﴿٤﴾

Pasha natën kur ajo e mbulon atë (dritën e diellit)!

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا ﴿٥﴾

Pasha qiellin dhe Atë që e ndërtoi atë!

وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا ﴿٦﴾

Pasha tokën dhe Atë që e shtriu atë (e sheshoi)!

وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا ﴿٧﴾

Pasha njeriun dhe Atë që e krijoi atë!

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا ﴿٨﴾

Dhe ia mësoi se cilat janë të këqijat dhe të mirat e tij.

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا ﴿٩﴾

Pra, ka shpëtuar ai që e pastroi vetveten.

وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا ﴿١٠﴾

E ka dështuar ai që e poshtëroi vetveten.

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ ﴿١١﴾

Themudi përgënjeshtroi për shkak të arrogancës së vet.

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا ﴿١٢﴾

Kur më i keqi i tyre u ngrit me të shpejtë.

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا ﴿١٣﴾

e Pejgamberi atyre u pat thënë: “Kinie kujdes devenë e All-llahut dhe ndaj pengimit të saj që të pijë ujë.

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا ﴿١٤﴾

Ata nuk i besuan atij dhe atë (devenë) e therrën dhe Zoti i tyre për shkak të mëkatit të tyre ua rreshtoi ndëshkimet dhe i rrafshoi,

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا ﴿١٥﴾

Duke mos iu frikësuar prapavisë së atij (ndëshkimi).
