Surah Al-'adiyat ( Those That Run ) - Aya count 11

وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا ﴿١﴾

SE de frustande stridshästarna!

فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا ﴿٢﴾

Se hur deras [hovar] slår upp gnistor

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا ﴿٣﴾

när de galopperar till anfall i den tidiga morgonen

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا ﴿٤﴾

[och] hur de river upp moln av damm

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا ﴿٥﴾

när de stormar fram i stridsvimlet!

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ ﴿٦﴾

MÄNNISKAN är sannerligen djupt otacksam mot sin Herre -

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ ﴿٧﴾

om detta vittnar hon själv -

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ﴿٨﴾

och visar sin kärlek till rikedom i ivern [att samla mer].

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ ﴿٩﴾

Vet hon inte [att] då det som göms i gravarna strös omkring

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿١٠﴾

och det som människorna har dolt i sina hjärtan uppenbaras;

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ ﴿١١﴾

den Dagen [skall det bli uppenbart att] deras Herre var väl underrättad om dem.
