قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ ﴿١﴾

SÄG: "Jag söker skydd hos gryningens Herre,

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢﴾

mot det onda i det som Han har skapat,

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣﴾

mot det onda i nattens tätnande mörker,

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ ﴿٤﴾

mot det onda från dem som blåser på knutar,

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥﴾

och mot det onda i avunden från den som avundas."
