قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿١﴾

SÄG: "Jag söker skydd hos människornas Herre,

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٢﴾

människornas Konung,

إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٣﴾

människornas Gud,

مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ ﴿٤﴾

mot det onda som den förrädiske frestaren

ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٥﴾

viskar i människornas hjärtan,

مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ﴿٦﴾

[viskar] genom [onda] osynliga väsen och [deras likar bland] människorna."
