وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿١﴾
(1-2) Mal toplayip onu tekrar tekrar sayan, insanlari arkadan çekistirip, kas göz hareketleriyle alay edenlerin (hümeze ve lümezenin) vay haline!
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﴿٢﴾

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ﴿٣﴾
Malinin, kendisini ebedi yasatacagini sanir.
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ﴿٤﴾
Hayir, andolsun ki, o hutame (cehennem)ye atilacaktir.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ﴿٥﴾
Hutame'nin ne oldugunu bilir misin?
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ﴿٦﴾
(6-7) O, kalplerin içine isleyecek, Allah'in tutusturulmus bir atesidir.
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ﴿٧﴾
